Our Standard Terms of Business

Here at Sign Insignia, we always strive to offer the best service and delivery we can So to clarify our ervice in full, Please read carefully the following terms of business. This is for your, as well as our, protection and please note that by ordering with Sign Insignia, personally or via the website, you agree to be bound by our terms of business. 

Purchase & Production Timings, e.g. creation of artwork, artwork amendments, production and delivery
Subject to the product and stock availability, we endevour to:

  • • provide you with a pdf (or similar) email for your approval within two working days of your initial enquiry or when placing an order on the website (If requested).
  • • After artwork approval, dispatch your order for delivery within the United Kingdom, within three working days of receiving your approval.
  • Delivery of orders will usually require a signature, so please ensure that the address you provide, someomne will be availabe during office hours for receiving.

Please note, these timing above will extend is subsequent changes to layout and product is requested.

Proofs
We will provide proofs based on the information you supply, so please be as accurate as possible. If you want to make changes please contact us as soon as you have received your proposed layout. After approval has been given, production can commence withing one hour, so after this time, products will have to be accepted unless production has not been started.

Payment Policy
Full Payment and layout details for all orders are required at the time of placing your order.

If for any reason you should cancel your order once we have gone to production you will be charged for all work carried out until the receipt of the cancellation. This will inlude work on artwork, communication and product use, and can be for the whole purchase amount, if full production has been done.

Samples
Samples will be supplied at our discretion, and will usually only be provided at the cost of the single product.

Returns, Refunds and Complaints policy
Here at Sign Insignia, we are very proud of our reputation. We try our hardest to provide the very best service and the very best product. if for any reason you are not 100% satified with your product, please contact us in the first instance, and we always do everything we can to remedy situations. Complaints regarding our goods supplied must be made within seven days of delivery of the order (by contacting us at the e-mail/telephone numbers shown below) . Goods should also be returned to the address below.

All faulty/damaged goods must always  be returned to us before we  consider sending out replacements. Replacements, or refunds will be issued withing 5 days of returned goods.

If for any reason you are not happy with a one of our stock items range (excluding personalised items) , we will offer you a full refund or replacement with a comparable and similarly priced product provided the goods are returned to us within seven days.

We do regret that as personalised items are made to specific specifications, and we do not go to production  until you have approved the proof(s), In these products we will be unable to offer refunds or exchanges. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Where your purchase has been made using a credit card or debit card, and you have chosen to receive a refund, the refund will be made to the same card within fourteen days of notification. We can only make a refund by cheque when the original payment was made by cheque. Bank transfer payments will be refunded this way only if the goods were paid for this way, and will only be made back to the bank payment was paid through.

Sign Insignia will not be held liable or responsible  for any printing, logo, layout or text error where the data supplied by the customer has contained the error(s). 

Loss and damage (in transit)/Products/goods
Sign Insignia offers a choice of replacement or a full refund for goods that have been damaged in transit or are faulty. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Then please return the damaged or faulty goods, together with the packaging to the address below within seven days of receipt of the goods and we will then replace the goods or issue a replacement or refund.

LostDelayed products 

We use Royal Mail for all of our deliveries, and on rare occasions items get delayed or lost. Sign Insignia will not be responsible for any late deliveries, where Royal Mail has delayed the delivery. If the delivery is delayed by the delivery company we will refund the cost of the postage (where one has been charged) but no refund will be offered for the cost of the goods. Items lost in transet by the delivery company will be replaced by us, but only after we have allowed Royal mail to investigate and track items within there own systems. Full refunds will only be given if sufficiaent proof of loss is accepted by the delivery company (Royal Mail).  This condition does not affect your statutory rights. 

Price changes
Prices shown on this websites are correct at the time of Display and are shown in GBP (£) and exclude VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

Product availability
The ranges of products and individual colours, there styles and sizes shown on the website are subject to change without notice. 

Colours and dimension tolerances
The exact dimensions of products shown on the websites are approximate only. Colours requested, sent as proofs and displayed on your screen may differ from the finished products. Background materials selected (Ie: White,Gold or silver) will have an impct on the final printed product. For this reason there may be some variations to your logo or artwork supplied.. 

If you have any queries regarding the size and/or colours of the different products please contact us  prior to ordering.

International orders and delivery to overseas locations
sign Insignia  will deliver to overseas locations if requested. The delivery costs vary depending on the product purchased, size of order or delivery destination. Please contact us for pricing before you place your rder. All overseas orders will be dispatched tarcked and signed for, so a signature for receipt will be required so please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address.
